tmad here. You should have taken me up on the Sandberg bet. Chicago sports GMs never cease to amaze me with their contempt for their fan base.
ReplyDeleteTo anonymous: Hendry's job was to select the "best" candidate. Time will tell whether he was right. I doubt if fan base was a major factor.
