I agree with your assessment of the park, but I haven't been to some of the other ones you mentioned. My only complaint is the "old-timer" sign in right-center field (can't remember their names). The limestone for the park came from quarries in the state. I got to attend when the Indians were in town (April I think).<br /><br />Regarding Joe, I also wonder about the fall-off of power from last year to this year. Is this just another example of a player performing better the year before a big contract negotiation? Once the contract is signed, then some of the motivation or "edge" is lost, or is he trying too hard? Where did all of those home runs go from last year? I admit I'm a fan of his and really want him to do well. I was glad that he was able to earn big money and be able to continue to play in the state and city he grew up in. He seems like a really classy, nice guy, and the local people here wanted the Twins to keep him. Seemed like a "win-win" at the time.
